Catholic Institutions and
Faith-Based Intiatives

On April 17, the Faith & Reason Institute sponsored a discussion on the Catholic perspective of faith-based initiatives. The luncheon discussion was held at the Institute for World Politics in Washington, D.C. Dr. John Farina, Senior Fellow in Law and Religion at FRI; John Carr, Secretary of the Department of Social Development and World Peace at the U.S. Catholic Conference; Edward Orzechowski, President of Catholic Charities of Washington, DC; and Dr. Brian Anderson of The Manhattan Institute and City Journal presented. Their remarks will appear soon. This event is one of a series in the Institute’s program on Catholicism and the American Public Square, supported by the Pew Charitable Trusts.
